Mechanical Engineer, Product Development

Sartorius is bringing new bioprocessing products to the market for single-use freeze/thaw systems. The R&D team in Bohemia is responsible for product development activities from early concept all the way to launched product. This role will be focused on mechanical and system engineering activities including design, specification, and qualification of disposables and equipment used for freeze/thaw systems as well as overall management of the project through commercial launch. What you can look forward to accomplishing Serve as project leader of a core team overseeing projects from concept through commercialization using a phase gate approach while managing budgets and schedules Develop systems for use within a regulated industry including electromechanical assemblies, consumables and software Design and evaluate prototypes using a combination of internal and external resources to verify compliance with requirements and process robustness Transfer designs to internal/external manufacturing teams. Oversee product qualification then maintain a support role throughout product life cycle (change management, root cause investigations, etc.) Recommend and implement engineering process improvements Skills and experience that you need to bring to our company Bachelor's degree (BS or BE) in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline  Minimum 5 years of product development experience within a regulated (e.g. pharmaceutical, medical device) industry Serve as a project leader of a core team overseeing projects from concept through commercialization using a phase gate approach while managing budgets and schedules Develop systems for use within a regulated industry including electromechanical assemblies, consumables, and software Design and evaluate prototypes using a combination of internal and external resources to verify compliance with requirements and process robustness Transfer designs to internal/external manufacturing teams. Oversee product qualification then maintain a support role throughout product life-cycle (change management, root case investigations, etc.) Recommend and implement engineering process improvements Experience with plastic fabrication techniques (molding, thermoforming, etc.) Demonstrated ability to engineer solutions to complex multidisciplinary problems Ability to prioritize tasks and balance individual technical contributions with coordination of activities across multiple sites, organizations and disciplines Familiarity with 3D modeling programs (Creo, Solidworks, etc.) Strong written and verbal English communication skills, capable of clearly expressing technical concepts to people with various levels of technical expertise Ability to effectively interface with internal and external international sites Working in a wet lab with chemicals and BSL1 biological material Occasional domestic/international travel Strong identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment 79 (10400)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
