Data Acquisition Engineer and Data Acquisition Manager

As Data Acquisition Engineer, you will provide hands-on technical expertise in instrumentation and controls systems in supporting static, fatigue and various other types of testing using servo-hydraulics and pneumatics. You will work as an engaged and constructive member of a collaborative team of Instrumentation and Data Acquisition Engineers and Technicians in carrying out a wide range of Electrical Engineering and Programming/Developer responsibilities. To qualify, you should possess 5
years of strong mechanical, instrumentation and testing experience. Your background should also include communication protocol and have fostered an ability to identify load and motion controls, and to measure applied load temp and other characteristics. Candidates for this role may have previous experience as a ground test/flight test engineer.
As Data Acquisition Manager, you will manage a group within the Engineering Team, while simultaneously supporting the needs of the entire Engineering and Test Divisionwhich may include responsibilities from unanticipated day-to-day requirements, to very lengthy projects requiring extensive planning. You will be expected to organize equipment, manpower and processes to support this variety of needs, and to continuously investigate new technologies to ensure lab capabilities are modernized and well-suited to the requirements of our clients customers and markets. To qualify, you should possess 8
years of hands-on data acquisition experience that includes work with controls systems planning, testing, instrumentation, and simulations within a lab environment. You must be able to write/verify code as part of your daily duties. A security clearance is also required, or the ability to obtain one.
Both positions require a Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline from an institution that has been accredited for at least one professional Engineering curriculum.
