Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Mechanic B is responsible for preventive maintenance, repair and installation of high volume automated processing equipment and facility systems. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
Knowledge of how the facility and manufacturing equipment operates
Performs most manufacturing and facilities repairs, including manufacturing equipment changeovers with minimal supervision as well as on their own
Performs all PMs as required
Interprets blueprints and schematics and basic understanding of electrical circuits and PLCs
Diagnoses problems/malfunctions with minimal guidance and supervision
Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience working in and around mechanical equipment, preferably in a food/pharmaceutical/nutriceutical environment
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to use all standard tools of the trade including electrical test meters
High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc within a manufacturing environment

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
