Experienced digital press operator wanted for a 2nd shift position.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Mechanically inclined.
Must be detailed orientated.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with printing presses a plus.
Key
Responsibilities:
Assists in all pre and post press job operations as directed by the Lead operator.
Assists with make-readys associated with designated press.
Retrieves and prepares materials for press runs.
Responsible for post production equipment cleaning.
Removes and segregates product.
Maintains the manufacturing warehouse in a clean and organized manner insuring that we follow F.I.F.O. inventory control.
Maintains and documents our Anilox roll inventory.
Understands and follows all SOPs that relate to press operations on each press.
Maintains the pressroom in an organized manner in order to operate at the highest level of productivity.
Follows all safety procedures when operating all manufacturing equipment or when handling chemicals.
Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
Maintains the press area and label storage area in a constant state of cleanliness. This includes putting away tools and roll stock after use, shredding all excess and scrap labels after each press run, taking out full bags of shreddings, cleaning up any scrap or label stock that may be on the floor and taking out the garbage at the end of the shift and maintaining the roll stock storage area.
All other press manufacturing related tasks.
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
